Bramhalls Solicitors – Job Vacancies

We’re always on the lookout for talented and personable employment lawyers to join our team.

Join our team!

At Bramhalls, a solicitor’s performance is not measured by the number of hours they bill, but on the speed and quality of the advice that they give to their clients. This thinking and approach is fundamental to Bramhalls. Hard work is still required, but it is to achieve the clients’ objectives, rather than generate fees.

  • We focus on our clients

Working with a range of industries means we tailor our services accordingly to support our clients and their business needs.

  • Established in 2005, we have over the years refined our processes to be as efficient as possible and to always act always in our clients’ best interests.

  • Our team of experts make every effort to support each other and everyone is encouraged to further their skills and to develop professionally.

Employment Solicitor (Associate – Senior Associate)

At Bramhalls, we measure success differently. Our solicitors are not judged by billable hours or financial targets, but by the quality, speed, and impact of the advice they provide to clients. Delivering client outcomes, not generating fees, it is at the heart of everything we do, and it changes how you work.

We are a specialist employment law firm and are always keen to hear from talented, personable solicitors who are passionate about employment law and committed to delivering exceptional client service.

What our clients say

“Bramhalls is big enough to offer pragmatic, commercial advice but small enough to care. When I pick up the phone, I feel confident whoever answers will know and care about our business.”

“Bramhalls provides a personal service, and its team of senior solicitors consistently takes care of our corporate concerns and employment matters with our best interests at heart. They deliver cost effective, honest legal advice, with integrity and professionalism always at the fore.”

Why join Bramhalls?

  • No billing or financial targets
  • Focus on quality of advice and client outcomes
  • Supportive and collaborative specialist team
  • Complex work for top-tier clients
  • Client exposure and responsibility from an early stage
  • Office-based culture designed to encourage teamwork and knowledge sharing
  • Convenient village location on the Wirral with easy parking and motorway access

We work together in the office. Not because we have to, but because we enjoy it and the best legal thinking happens during face-to-face discussions, not via Teams.

About the role

You will join a highly regarded team of specialist employment solicitors advising HR teams and senior decision-makers within established organisations across the UK and beyond. Our work is varied, high quality, and often complex, with a client base and calibre of work comparable to that of leading national firms.

We advise on the full spectrum of employment law matters, including:

  • Industrial relations
  • Day to day advice on all HR issues
  • Complex discrimination and whistleblowing claims
  • Restrictive covenants
  • Employment Tribunal representation
  • High Court proceedings

We are recognised by the UK’s leading legal directories for the quality of our work and client service.

We’re selective about the work we take on. A caseload built on long-standing client relationships, not volume.

What we’re looking for

The work is demanding, fast-paced, and intellectually stimulating. Our clients rely on us to provide commercially focused, pragmatic, and legally sound advice, often within tight timeframes.

We are looking for solicitors at Associate – Senior Associate level who are:

  • Motivated to become outstanding employment law specialists
  • Technically strong and commercially aware
  • Confident communicators with excellent client care skills
  • Collaborative and supportive team players

While post-qualification experience is welcomed, we place greater value on attitude, ability, and ambition than on PQE alone.

Benefits

In addition to high-quality work and a supportive environment, we also offer:

  • Private medical insurance
  • Life assurance
  • Informal bonus structure (approximately 10% paid last year)
